Aurélie is a dedicated professional with a strong background in surveying and international planning and development. She embarked on her educational journey by commencing Professional studies in Surveying in 2005, followed by a Master's Degree in Surveying in her home country, France, and then a Masters in International Planning and Development in Wales, UK.

After completing her studies, Aurélie gained practical experience in France as a Engineer and Land Surveyor for six years, then as a Registered Professional Surveyor 2018 to 2019. During this time, she honed her skills and built a solid foundation in the field of surveying.

Driven by her passion for new experiences and a desire to see other parts of the world, Aurélie travelled to New Zealand, where she has been working for the past three years. She joined a reputable surveying firm in Nelson, where her expertise and qualifications from France were highly valued, despite not yet being licensed in NZ.

Aurélie's professional journey has been marked by significant accomplishments. As a team leader, she has successfully overseen large construction projects, including wind farms and dams. Her role involved managing teams of staff members, ensuring efficient coordination and timely project completion.

In New Zealand, Aurélie has been primarily engaged in subdivision projects and handling resource consents. Her attention to detail, technical expertise, and ability to navigate the rules and regulations in NZ have been instrumental in her success. 

Aurélie's diverse experience and skill set made her a good candidate for the position of Senior Surveyor in Hamilton. Her commitment to professionalism, her natural leadership abilities, and her adaptability in different environments are qualities that have set her apart in her career. Aurélie, having recently moved to Hamilton is keen to become part of the Hamilton community, and is looking forward to the challenges her recent appointment offers her.
