What's happening in 2020

It looks like Summer in NZ might have finally arrived, and most of the team are back at work after relaxing breaks over Christmas and New Year. Workloads are heavy at the moment with some large projects around some of the branches, but it is good have a flexible team who are happy to move around the various offices as required. This ensures we maintain maximum capacity across the Company. If you have a project that we can assist with, please contact one of our staff as early as possible.

Waikato District Council are busy with hearings on their District Plan change, with various timetables right through 2020 and Stage 2 likely to be early 2021. Unfortunately decisions are not being released as the hearings proceed, so it will be some time before outcomes to submissions will be known to submitters. We are representing a number of clients in these hearings, and if you would like to see progress, the District Council website is being kept up to date, or call one of our team.

I continue to post these articles on our website www.birchsurveyors.co.nz/about-us/news so if there are any historic articles of interest, visit our site. Our website is actively managed and regularly upgraded and refreshed. This is done primarily to provide reliable information to the public on land development issues.

2020 looks like it will be another busy year for all our branches. Please visit our website for contact details. We hope all our readers have a positive and successful year.
