Introducing new staff

29 June 2017

AUTHOR:Kevin Birch

The continuing growth in the District fueled by increasing population is stretching resources. This has both positive and negative spinoffs for everyone. At Birch Surveyors our staff numbers continue to grow as we cater for growing demand.

This month we are pleased to announce the employment of two new staff in Pukekohe, both of whom started on the same day. Firstly Tessa who joins us as a Surveyors Assistant. Tessa is a local who previously worked in the horticulture sector but is keen to learn about the Surveying profession. Tessa works primarily with the field teams where she enjoys the outdoors, but will also be developing CAD skills to provide her with office work, when she is not maintaining our surveying equipment.

We also welcome Sky Hang as a graduate Civil and Environmental Engineer. Sky moved from China to Wellington where he completed his schooling before completing a degree in Engineering at Auckland University. Sky has moved to Pukekohe and is working alongside our Engineering team, gaining practical experience in Civil Engineering. Sky is also a talented saxophone and piano player.

It is always refreshing to employ additional staff who bring new ideas and additional energy to the Company.
